Job Summary
Support the Cluster Security Manager in securing Shell Petroleum Development Company’s West production assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks across production facilities.
- Project Security Support: Ensure security for ongoing projects.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with government agencies, third-party security personnel and internal stakeholders.
- Contract Management: Implement third-party contract requirements.
- Team Oversight: Guide Security Supervisors and Technical Support Personnel.
Requirements
- Up to 3 years of experience in IT, consulting, logistics, manufacturing, finance or oil and gas.
- Willingness to develop a long-term security career.
- Industrial security background is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
- Quick learner with a strong ability to build security risk management skills.
- Proven track record of solving business challenges in complex environments.
- Familiarity with Exploration and Production (E&P) business and Niger Delta environment is beneficial.
- Professional industrial security certification within two years of hiring.
- Up to three years in IT, industrial security, consulting, manufacturing or logistics, especially in onshore/swamp environments.
Working Conditions
- Field-based position with rotational duties.
- Alternating shifts with the Cluster Security Manager.
