Job Description
A vital component of the Ikeja-based Supply Chain Operations SNBO team assisting Shell Companies in Nigeria (SCiN) is the Supply Chain Specialist – RtP role.
As an individual contributor, it is your duty to communicate and work together with different levels of stakeholders in order to respond to questions, promptly address problems, and create future preventive action plans.
Requirements
- We are interested in speaking with people who have worked on Requisition-to-Pay (RtP) processes for at least two years.
- familiarity with RtP procedures and the capability of the SAP ERP system.
- Recognise the high-level rules, procedures, and systems related to Requisition-to-Pay (RtP).
- Recognise the appropriate channel and system for each expense category and advise the business accordingly.
- Recognise the main connections and interdependencies between the systems, processes, and controls of Contracting and Procurement (CP) and those of other Shell divisions, including Finance, Projects, and others, as well as external partners.
- Understanding of Shell’s governance/contract signatory process and how it connects to the RtP process and systems, as well as the ability to describe who can commit money on the company’s behalf, are prerequisites for accessing the Manual of Authority.
- proficient in both written and spoken English.
- An extra benefit is having SAP certification and knowledge of IT systems, data analysis, and visualisation.
